Wii-view (sound of gunfire): Excitetruck

Originally released as a Wii launch title in the US, Nintendo Europe decided to hold back its release here to beef up the usually barren post-christmas lull.
First up, if your looking for serious truck simulation and stacks of customisable features, you aint going to get it here.
If however, you want trucks that spend more time in the air and pulling "mad trix" as the yanks would say and custumisation that goes no further than truck colour, then this is THE game. Depth does not come into this games equation, but fuck it, im a San Francisco rush, not gran turismo kind of guy, so this is right up me ruddy alley.
Nice chunky graphics, a solid framerate and a fun multiplayer. Plus if you dig hi-scores, this kills it. With the controller held horizontally it may take a while to adjust to the sensativity of the steering but once mastered the feeling of tearing round the well designed tracks is ace.
Thankfully, the development team had to foresight to allow you to create your own soundtrack using Mp3's loaded to an SD card, a saving grave seeing as the default music is fucking phish of the power-chord, geetar shreading variety.
Overall, the Wii's first truly good racing game, pity it's only two player.

You have to admit too though - the truck colours are PRETTY WICKED.

Excite truck is the bee's testicles.
